The Eco Lands at Outside Lands is powered this year for the first time by NRG, the official sustainable energy provider of the festival. Its physical location is in the wooded nook of Hellman Hollow next to the Panhandle Stage. Eco Lands is an educational forum of sustainability showcasing urban gardening workshops, local community organizations, national NGO's, a farmer's market, and a refillable water station.
- Refillable water program
- There is a refillable water program through a partnership with CamelBak this year! CamelBak water stations can be found in Polo Field and Eco Lands, and they will provide free freshly filtered water to everyone in an effort to reduce disposable bottle waste and promote sustainability.
- Farmer's Market
- Full Belly Farm is a 300-acre certified organic farm located in the beautiful Capay Valley of Northern California, an hour northwest of Sacramento. They will be at Outside Lands selling seasonal melon slices, peaches, tomatoes, corn, green beans, and more!
- Urban gardening workshops
- Garden For the Environment will be offering worm composting workshops twice daily at their booth in Eco Lands. Jump-start your garden with some homemade compost!
